Updates by Ps Faustina

Praise God for Ps Faustina and Ps.Alice are well and safe from the flood happened recently. Immediate action of the community on building up the sand sacks was a great help to block the flood at Muang Ake (area around Rangsit Outreach Center). However, the water level still not going down yet.
We would like you continue to pray Thailand and the water level to go down. Pray for the victim area in Southern part of Thailand.

Updates by Ps Faustina

Praise God for His faithfulness and the joy of the Lord is our strength always. We give thanks that the Outreach Center currently have 18 regular members attending Sunday services each week. We joyfully announce that a new believer will receive baptism on 3 October. We are also making breakthroughs and building new friendships through Rangsit University's Student Club - 'Powered Youth Club' and through joining aerobic and badminton activities.

We are always grateful of your partnership with us in mission through prayers.

15 - 22 July 2010

Updates by Jimmy Wong

On 15th to 22nd July, a team of 8 from FCC led by Jimmy Wong, visited RAOC. They learned to manage their time between painting the four walls of the center and other mission activities. At the Rangsit University, they helped out at the Inauguration Night of the Powered Youth Club, which is a channel for the students to know God through this Christian student club, on 19th July together with YWAM Thailand. Besides a successful guitar beginner’s course, three sessions of Deep & Strong with topics on ‘Generational Curse & Witchcraft’, ‘Bitterroot & Judgement’ and ‘Forgiveness’ were conducted to minister to the Thai members. All in all, the team learned to rely on God in the mission field, as He will open ways and provide opportunities to touch lives and minister through their abilities and skills to serve in different ways.

20th May 2010

Updates by Ps Stella

A team of 6 led by Ps Stella Lo were in Rangsit, Thailand on May 13th -19th. The team was welcomed with, "Why are you here in this time of chaos in our country?". That helped us sharpened our vision and purpose for our trip. We were there to love Thailand. Love in action included cooking for our missionaries, supporting them in everything they do, praying for them and for their ministry in Rangsit Anglican Outreach Center (RAOC). Our time was spent doing visitation, prayer walks and drives, being in the streets trying to 'enter' into the life of the town and the lives of the beautiful Thai people. Our love for the people grew stronger with each passing moment, our burden for the evangelisation of the country increased with each passing day.

We have returned rejoicing, echoing the same message - our lives will never be the same again. We have been blessed by our time with our missionaries and very thankful that we could (for a short while) be part of the exciting work there. To God be the glory.

15th May 2010

Updates by Ps Stella

The mission team in Rangsit are looking forward to visitations and Sunday ministry at the outreach center. Ps Stella will be preaching from Colossians 2:1-7, and then teaching on bringing children to worship for the parents. Rebecca Lo, the youngest member on the team, will be giving a 4 hour tambourine basics class to 3 young people, spread out over two sessions. Besides enjoying the Thai food and hospitality by Ps Faustina and Ps Alice, everyone are also eager to cook for the resident missionaries and to go out with the Gospel.

14th May 2010

Updates by Tony Chan

Ps. Stella and team members Rebecca Lo, Tony Chan, Shilla Soh and David Ho arrived safely in Thailand after departing from KK on the 13th May, joining Victor Chong who had earlier set foot there one week before them. The team arrived at Rangsit Outreach Anglican Center around 1.00am Malaysian time. They were not distracted and still kept up their excitement and strong in spirit, even though Rebecca had a sudden fever and Tony a rash from an allergic reaction. Praise God are completely healed.

Please continue to pray for them for protection, guidance and discernment. Also please pray for the families that they are scheduled to visit; for the Holy Spirit to lead and minister powerfully as they step out in faith.

28th April 2010

The anti-government red-shirt protesters started their rallies in March 2010. It started as a peaceful protest but has grown violent. The tension continues to rise as the number of people directly affected by the demonstration increases in magnitude by the day. It has dragged on and public anger is rising. The voice of hope urging for a peaceful end to the conflict seems diminishing as frustration mounts. People are anticipating a crackdown over this weekend as it is leading to the long Labor Day weekend.

We are calling all intercessors and our church members to fast and pray for Thailand during these difficult times.

  • Pray that God will remove the evildoers and give wisdom to the authority to act righteously and justly
  • Pray that the followers of the different parties will wake up to see the truth rather than respond to one-sided rhetoric
  • Pray for forgiveness, repentance, healing, and revival of the land
