Diocesan English & Chinese Young Adult Camp

More than 200 young adults spent a memorable 4-days at the Kokol Prayer Summit on 15-18 September 2010 for the Diocesan English & Chinese Young Adult Camp. Enjoying more than just the panaromic view of Kota Kinabalu city and Mount Kinabalu, they also enjoyed the time worshipping and listening to God's word together, sharing during small group sessions, having friendly competitions through team-building activities and an evening of dancing. The participants left with sweet memories and an eagerness to continue experiencing God in their lives.

Diocesan BM Young Adult Camp

The Diocesan BM Young Adult Camp was held recently on 7-10th September at the Valley of Blessing, Telupid. 141 participants were blessed to learn from teachings on faith and salvation, while also gaining in knowledge about managing their personal finance and budgeting.

Bishop's Message

This year our Diocesan Synod will be meeting at the end of August 2010 (our Diocesan Synod meets once in 2 years). Among other things, we will be discussing the direction of the Diocese in the light of the developments we have seen in the Anglican Communion which intensified over the last 12 or more years, with many of the churches in the USA, the UK, Australia, NZ and other countries increasingly being influenced by the culture of the day rather than to base the authority of our faith in the revelation of the Bible.
