Mission Works

Long Term Missionaries

People who are called to serve long-term in Thailand, Indonesia or other mission fields as resident missionaries. Their role may be English teaching, evangelism, working with children and church planting. If another language needs to be learned, it will take a minimum 8 years commitment. Interview and training guided by Diocesan Mission Committee are necessary. Approved by the Bishop before sending out.

Short Term Mission Trips

Every church is to maintain their mission partnership and regular exchange visits are the short term mission trips that every member can be involved in. Other mission trips may be arranged throughout the year within the Diocese and overseas. Information on these trips will be disseminated through the Priest/Pastor in-charge.

Retiree Program

The Retiree Program is a one to two years program. It is for retired people who can relocate to Thailand and spend a year there on a non-immigrant Long Stay Visa. You will contribute to the church planting effort with whatever God has gifted you.

Who can apply?
Those who are retired and the children are grown.

How would I be supported?
We will help you to apply for a non-immigrant Long Stay Visa. Accommodation will be provided. You need to look after your living.

What can I do?
Be a friend to the missionaries.
Help with the children ministry.
Help in the student's ministry.
Counselling.
Teach English at all levels.
Be involved in the life of the church.

Be a prayer partner to a missionary. Giving finance for mission - through your church or direct to the Diocesan Mission Fund.
