This camp was held from
29th May to 1st June 2006 at the Diocesan Valley of Blessings Retreat
And Conference Centre, Telupid. The Speaker was Pendita Jacky Mailoor
from Indonesia. 1,090 youths throughout the Diocese registered and
participated. Over 2,000 people attended
the open meeting
each night. 50 youths from the local SIB and Roman Catholic Churches
also joined the camp.
The theme was "Aku Maju
Sidang Maju" (If I grow, my church grows). Its objective was to
challenge the youths of their important role in church growth. This camp
challenged the youths that if they grow in maturity then the church will
grow. They were also challenged to know their precious position before
the Lord. Many came forward to receive blessing and to offer their
bodies as a living sacrifice and lead a pure and holy lives.
